Working with Consumer and B2B clients, my experience spans global brands – Nestlé, Bidfood, Nescafé, Hamleys, Hotels.com, Expedia Inc, Hyatt hotels and Cuddledry – through to smaller independents and start-up businesses.
Most recently, client work has included:
“Going beyond the product pages” – Cuddledry
Working with leading family bathtime brand, Cuddledry, I created and implemented a communications strategy to reinvigorate PR a decade since the business first shot to fame on Dragon’s Den, and to create cross channel content to extend’s the brand’s coverage ‘beyond the product pages.’
Highlights to date have included the launch of a major piece of consumer research that explores what it means to be a flexible working parent in 2017, which generated conversation amongst digital influences in the UK, and has been used to create content for the brand’s global marketing channels. I also launched Cuddledry’s Christmas PR campaign, reaching out to national media and driving social collaborations. Finally, I placed thought leadership and advice pieces in the SME media to mark the 10 year anniversary, resulting in coverage in titles including Small.Business.co.uk and New Business Magazine.
“Driving change in hospitality” – Nestlé Professional with Speed Communications
Working with leading PR consultancy, Speed Communications, I planned and launched a new creative quarterly campaign initiative for Nestlé Professional. The ‘Buzzbites’ platform was a completely new direction for the business, using dynamic content, events, and brand collaborations to highlight the most pressing issues facing the hospitality industry today.
The inaugural campaign – ‘Good Food, Good Life’ – saw collaborations with health food innovator The Mindful Chef, inspiring dietitian Lucy Jones, and hospitality industry bible The Caterer, to deliver far reaching, thought provoking coverage that got the industry sitting up and listening.
“Starting a chocolate revolution” – James Chocolates
Working with chocolate entrepreneur James Hutchins, I was tasked with raising the profile of his new venture – Chocolate Treat Club – in the SME media, with the aim of exposing the business to new investment opportunities. As a result, coverage was achieved in Talk Business, Small Business.co.uk, New Business and Is4profit.com, which created a solid talking point for potential investors and paved the way for wider consumer PR.
“Into the Wild” – Bracey Interiors in collaboration with Bristol Zoo
Working with the reputable interiors firm, Bracey Interiors, I delivered a PR campaign to launch a unique new luxury safari style lodge in the heart of Bristol Zoo Gardens, which allows visitors to experience an incredible overnight ‘behind the scenes’ stay at the world famous Zoo. This resulted in a host of media coverage including full pages in The Bristol Magazine and The Independent.
“50 years of designing Bristol” – Bracey Interiors
Reputable Bristol interiors experts, Bracey Interiors, recently celebrated an important 50th anniversary milestone. As the first to bring all the major design houses to Bristol, this family run business has become synonymous with interior design in the region and has taken on some of the city’s most significant and challenging projects, gaining many loyal clients in the process.
Not to let this milestone pass quietly, I worked with Bracey to broker and deliver an extensive 6 page editorial feature in The Bristol Magazine, which marked the launch of a week of events featuring some of the industry’s best brands and designers, including a talk from Katrina Burroughs, Interiors Editor of The Sunday Times.
